| I actually have friend who said they saw someone break out a window with their glock (the slide, no special tool). I have no idea why you wouldn't just hit the window with a baton or asp or whatever besides your gun you are depending on to protect yourself....... |

The coolest thing I've ever seen to break a window is a piece of a broken spark plug. The ceramic causes a vibration that will SHATTER a window in a skinny minute. We only do it for demonstrations in training classes, but it works. We use spring loaded window punches mainly to break glass. A vehicle antenna works, too. However, somthing to put on the end of a FIREARM???? OMG!!! Not to disrespect our public safety professionals, but I forsee someone getting SHOT! Might wanna short-sell some stock in this company. blev-E |
Tempered/annealed glass only needs to be surface punctured to spider crack. The sharp edge of a broken piece of ceramic (yes, even the size of a gain of rice, and not thrown hard) is enough to puncture the outer shell of the tempered glass to allow the glass to blow up/spider crack all on it's own (read same thing happens when you use a center point glass break). |
+1. The dedicated spring loaded, easy to use, glass punches are smaller and easier to carry around than one of these. They are the size of a fountain pen. |
