WOOHOO! I went up to A-1 Guns in Middleburg to just LOOK at Glocks today. Found an almost new G23C for $500. Came with "Tru-Glo" tritium night sights, extended slide release, 3.5 lb disconnector all installed. Had MAYBE 20 rounds through it. Came with one 10 round mag and two 13 round mags, Blackhawk holster (kind the locks into the triggerguard; came with an extra belt clip), original case, and cleaning rod. HECK of a deal. And as if that wasnt enough, the shop owner (who is the coolest shop owner I've ever dealt with) threw in a box of Hornady TAP 155 gr HP and a box of Magtech 165 gr FMJ for $16. Got to shoot it at my friend's house after I bought it, and it ran like a CHAMP! Pretty darn accurate too.I like the ported barrel as well  I LOVE IT! So glad I got a Glock. Now PICTURES! There are many like it..but this one is MINE!:      Here's the holster I got. I LOVE IT. It's not a CC holster, of course, but man I can draw with it. And these tritium sights are easy to find.  Some things I've realized today: Glocks ROCK!!! Night sights are awesome. I need an extended mag release for my G23C. |
It's a Blackhawk CQC Holster and it came WITH the pistol at no extra charge! This thing is SWEET! It has the lock that locks the pistol into the holster and you have to press to draw it. I was practicing with it and I can already draw it REALLY fast. If I can get a MOLLE attachment, this'll be my "everything but CCW" holster  The guys at the shop said it was like a $50 holster.

Yeah it's a bit loud I love the flash from the ports though The Hornady TAP gives off a nice one. When I bought the pistol, there was NO fouling from the ports. Which means it's either not been shot before I got it, or shot very little and cleaned well. |
Thanks, I am going to have to order one. How do the ports affect the sights? It seems to me like they would turn the front sight black.....Does this happen? |
I put 55 continuous rounds through it and there was only a little fowling on the cuts in the slide. The sight didnt get dirty at all. Then again, I only put 55 rounds through it
