What parts/contact points does one polish when doing a trigger job? Does polishing alone make a smoother trigger?

I was looking at a Glock that an local armorer had done a trigger job on. That was the smoothest trigger I have ever felt on a Glock. It also had a pretty light pull so I'm thinking he also installed a lighter firing pin spring.

Thanks, that helps.

I ordered a competition kit from Glock parts.com.

You probably should have held off on the comp trigger pack, a polished trigger in a Glock with a 3.5# connector is pretty damn fine if you ask me, and it might cost ya $17.

I got the comp. kit because it had several items I wanted. It was only $50. Actually I received the kit, and .357 sig conversion barrel, today. It took like 10 min. to install everything. I polished most every thing else last night. There is definitely a difference.
