So I wanted to lighten up the trigger a little on my glock 17.. I ordered some parts from glockparts.com.. Here is what I ordered:

4lb. Firing Pin Spring (Not for Duty or Carry)
 Quantity: 1
 Item #: RPFPS
 Price per Item: $5.00

 Competition Trigger Spring
 Quantity: 1
 Item #: GMTSK1
 Price per Item: $5.00

 Connector - 3.5lb.
 Quantity: 1
 Item #: LWD-342
 Price per Item: $11.95

 NY1 Trigger Spring
 Quantity: 1

Has anyone installed all of this on their glock and what kind of improvements can I expect from this stuff? Thanks

i've installed/replace similar parts

here is a good link for takedown and trigger smoothing:

all you really needed for a lighter trigger pull is the lighter disconnect imo; i'd consider skiping the lighter FP and competition anything if its a duty firearm, but if you do, make sure it works for your loads

i'm also wondering whta the NY 8lb trigger spring will do w/ the rest of the parts

One thing you can do, if it's for a duty firearm...is to use a 3.5 # connector and a NY1 (OD) trigger spring.  This will give you faster reset, with a 5.5 # perceived trigger pull, which is the "factory" pull and may meet requirements for duty.

If you want a true lighter pull, a la the 34 and 35, use the 3.5 connector and regular trigger spring.

Feel free to PM me, I just finished the factory armorer's course and we went over all the trigger configurations...not that I know diddly squat, but I can research it for ya! :)
