I plan on getting a g26 to carry in the warmer months. I always see pics of g26's with a magazine extension that allows the pinky to fit on. It isn't very big and does not look like it would add any rounds. What company makes these and where can I buy some. Also are they reliable.

Pierce Grip makes them, and they have two versions. One is just a grip extension. The other extends the capacity by one round, while keeping the same profile as the other one.

The wife has the extended cap ones on all of her 26 mags. They have been 100% reliable. They are good stuff!

Don't have pics yet, but I just picked up a 26. Darkstar is right on about the Pearce grip extensions. I got the plus 2 variety for each of the mags that come with the gun. Then I have 2 G17 mags, with grip fillers by A&G, which fill the gap between the bottom of the grip and the mag, since the mag sticks out below the bottom of the grip.

Check out Ajax Grips for these.

Go with the factory +2 mags = 12rds.
