Just wondering if since they have the G21 SF, dose anyone think Glock will come out with a G30 SF?

I Hope so.  I would buy one.

I've heard it said that quite a few of the Glocks models are going to get the SF treatment.

Short frame.  Its a smaller grip for people with small hands.  Its not much smaller but an improvement none the less.

Thanks I was thinking "single-feed" once I got Special Forces and Survival Forum outta my head.

BTW, if ya made a G30 frame shorter what would one hold onto? and wouldn't a smaller diameter frame help those with girlie hands more so than a shorter frame?

The frame is shorter front to back.  I think they went with "SF" to sound cool and came up with "short frame" to fit the initials.

I like the feel of the 21SF, but not sure if it's enough to make me trade in my 21.  I'm glad they're doing this, but I wish they'd do a G23 single-stack while they're at it.  Personally, the width of the frame is all the difference in a CCW.  I can conceal a G36 better than a G26/27.  Don't like the stubby grip on the latter two either.

WTF, shorter front to back??????

Exxxccccuuuuussssseeeeee me, while I climb up on my

Ya know where I come from there's no such thing; only a smaller diameter grip, narrower grip or smaller grip.

While I'd wholeheartedly agree that a "frame" could be shortened, vertically or horizontally, but verbally speaking that would still have nothing to do with the diameter of the "grip" on that frame now would it?

This is the dumbest thing I ever heard of....., like we ain't got enough "SF" abreviations in the world today; leave to it Glock to come up with one that don't even come close to describing the addtional model feature. Hell even "smaller-frame" would be a better description for the smaller diameter grip than "short-frame".

People are just flat dumber than fence post nowdays (not directed at any of those in this thread simply those morons that come up with dumbshit acronyms that don't even come close to rendering an accurate and intelligent description of what the change embodies, not to mention picking one of the most overused acronyms to boot; making for even further confusion on this planetary romper room of idots).

Sorry for the rant,
mike

ps - I have man hands so will have no use for an "SF" model Glock, but that is one stupid desciption for a grip diameter change, IMO.

Maybe they should have named it the "Glock 21 RGDBSC" (Reduced Grip Diameter But Same Capacity) for folks that over analyze things like you.  While I do consider the term "short" to more of a vertical axis term, the name of Glock's new 21SF doesn't actually piss me off.

Thanks (he said wiping the H2O spray off his dual monitors), good one......

I was thinking more along the lines of "SG".
