| I seem to recall seeing factory .40 Glock mags similar to the 18 mags. I believe they were 27 or 29 round mags. I know there is an aftermarket builder for them but I here they aren't reliable. Did Glock ever make a 40 mag with more capacity than the gock 22. If so anyone know where to pick them up. |
| anyone have a link to any information on modifying the G18 mags. i just picked up 2 of them from CDNN alnog with 20 G22 mags. I have 5 23 mags but I only use one of them, so I was going to swap the follower from two into the G18 mags and do a little file work to open up the feed lips. i just loaded 13 .40 rounds into one (bitch to load) and they manually cycled perfectly. I'ld like to see or read some information on modifying them before start if its availible. |

JHC!!! You don't file the damned feed lips, you just open them up mechanically, to .40 specs. The specs can be found at customglockracing.com. Filing!!???? JHC!!! It's a "normal" operation to check Glock mags feed lip separation specs, over a period of time. You conform them to specs by bending them in or out. Filing!!!??? JHC!!!!

These extensions will give you +5 on .40 mags. They work and the base pad is rock solid but they are not cheap. Arredondo Mag Extesions |
