| I recently picked up a G19 and G26 to go with my department issued G22. I ordered a leather blackhawk holster for dress duty but am looking at a concealment holster for my smallest Glock. I can get a Bladetech IWB for $50 or I can get a Comptac CTAC slide that fits all G9/40s for $75. I think the Comptac is the way to go but any thoughts would be appreciated. I also have Uncle Mike's IWBs for my 2 smaller Glocks and a Fobus for the smallest and an Uncle Mike's Kydex for the 19/22. I just need something for concealment badly as the Uncle Mikes are okay but not ideal. |

The Comp-TAC was uncomfortable for me (not very, just enough) and I sold it. I am keeping my eye out for a Milt Sparks VMII. I had one for a full size .45 and it was excellent. The points/edges on the Comp-TAC kept digging into me, the thigh specifically, since I wear my gun at 3o'clock. Any changes to make it comfortable would have been permanent. |

I had the same question a couple of weeks ago, and i found someone posting on ARFCOM about his holster. Its a "In Waist Band" holster and looks great for concealment. Cross Breed Holsters I will get one of those, just need to decide what gut i want it for ~S |

I have a CTAC for my G19. It is comfortable for me as long as my pants aren't too tight. If I have a couple of inches in the waist band, then I am good to go. I have a VMII for a Sig. I think the VMII is a tad more comfortable, but more of a PITA to take on and off. since you have to feed your belt through the loops or deal with the heavy duty snaps. I can take the CTAC off without loosening my belt or dealing with snaps. One of the snaps on my VMII has a tiny dent in it, which makes it difficult to fasten once it is un-snapped. I'm not sure which would make you sweat more, leather or plastic? |
