if you are not sure about which parts to polish, it can be apparent wherever there is bare steel from wear/contact points.  don't polish it down too much or you might ruin it, just take any burrs or nicks out.  Lube all parts that have metal wear as these are the parts generating the most friction.

I use Flitz, works great. As stated DON'T over do it. I sell a lot of parts because of the above link.

Dremel tool with small cloth wheel and white rouge  (Home Depot carries it and other grades under the Ryobi brand) works well.  I did the feed ramp too, now it's like glass.   Be sure to do a good job where the trigger bar contacts the "ramp" of the connector.

Same method works very nicely for polishing the barrel.  Looks like stainless, very nice contrast to the black frame.  Same with the two pins.

HotRod,
Great advice here on the boards.  Got a site where you're selling those parts?

ditto, I use the white rouge and felt wheels.  Rouge is cheap.  Also great for stropping scary sharp edges on knives with an old leather belt.
