| I wanted an extend mag release for one of my 17's. I got one but it is aluminum. It looks like it is damaging my magazines. Anyone else out there have one of these and this issue with them? |
I was taught in Glock armorer's school that installing after market metal mag releases were bad because you have metal on plastic friction. They advised against this combo. |
Yes, it is, but worse than that. That is why I was concerned. Thanks. |
I have a couple that are worse but after digging through 60-70 mags I was hoping that would give you the idea. The dent will only progress so far. As I mentioned earlier it is purely cosmetic. It will not affect function of the catch it just looks bad.
They are the same part. The stock G20/21 mag catch is the extended mag catch for the 9mm, 40, 357SIG and the 45GAP. |
