DO NOT USE THIS AMMO IN A HANDGUN!

IDF regulations strictly prohibit the use of UZI ammo manufactured before 1995 in handguns, including GLOCKs.

What?

Since when are Americans bound to any IDF regulations and how is this different from any other +P+ ammo?

IMI 9mm ammo manufactured for UZI prior to '95 wasn't ment for handguns, so it doesn't meet SAAMI standards.
in other words:
old UZI ammo (this box was made in 76) may be loaded well beyond +P+. The bullet can also be longer than the maximum standard, and the primers are dome shape and may not ignite upon strike.

AH, that's interesting. Thanks for the info!

Just for the record. American made 9mm +P+ is not SAAMI regulated either, which is why all the ammo companies that make 9mm +P+ restrict sales to LE only.
I have fired several hundred rounds of Hirtenberger 9mm +P+ "submachine-gun" ammo through my Glocks with no ill effects. YMMV.

I don't see why you should take any unnecessary risks with your handgun. I've also fired some Hirtenbirger-Patronen 124gr +P+, just to get used to the over-pressure feeling (I pack Winchester Ranger SXT 127gr +P+, which is damn expensive here, so I don't wanna waste them on practice) and I stick to IMI 115/124gr FMJ (standard pressure) for training.
