I believe I would do some looking for a used one before I paid that much money for either of them.  However, those 34's usually bring good money even used.

Shop around.  I got my Glock 34 NIB with three 17rd mags for $475.

All of the LEO blue box G34/G35's I have seen dont have a 3.5 connector, and dont have adjustable sights. There are currently two different offerings in these models and the prices are different. I'm not saying LE cant get these, just keep that in mind when comparing prices.
