I heard some talk on another board about Glock coming out with model 37 to be another single stack 45acp.  Is there any truth to this or is it speculation?  If any one has a link or any other information it would be much appreciated.

I spoke with a glock representative at the GSSF match in Conyers, GA a few weeks ago. He said there are plans for a 37, but wouldn't go into what they were. He did say that it would be "some time" before the G37 comes out. He also said that Glock had considered making a carbine.. but that is off the drawing board now

Just a rumor, but I think one of the guys on Glocktalk, who seems to know a lot of people at the US facility, indicated that he had heard the same thing you did.

From a marketing standpoint it seems like the best new pistol to come out with because of the popularity of 1911 pistols in the US, which I would assume is glock's biggest market.

I would still like to see a small 9mm/40 single stack that was more concealable than the present mini Glocks.

The Glock 37 is set to be a slimline single-stack (full-size version of the G36). According to DannyR at GlockTalk (apparently a sort of insider with the Glock in Smyrna), the G37 has been delayed until late next year.

Does anyone know the real reason that Glock doesn't import their .380 model, the glock 28?

Are there any plans for Glock either beginning import on this gun or manufacturing a new 380 for US sale?  Is it possible that the rumored 37 is really a new, single stack, super concealable 380 Glock?

No speculation, please.

Sure, imported pistols have to meet a point system by law, which includes having a caliber of a certain size. I think this was an attempt to keep "cheap foreign saturday night specials" out of the country. The .380 doesn't have a enough points to come in. I can't rattle off the exact statute at the moment.

The .380s look to be on the same frame that you can get a 9/40/357 in so without hicaps I don't see any real market for them.

I would like to see a more concealable Glock, like a single stack 9, (I see I've said that before ) but the rumor is that the 37 is a single stack 45, that production has been put off for awhile (perhaps because of the frame recall problems?). DannyR from Glocktalk seems to know what's up and has some kind of close relationship with Glock. From what very little contact I've had with him he's a trustworthy source of information. Oh and he's a nice guy too, provided me with some very good advice about Glocks.
