Anybody have a link, pics or know how to get the stock mag release out and put a new one in?
I've looked and looked inside the magwell and I'm just not figuring it out.
Thanks

I just did this on my G22. I found the easiest way *for me* to do it was to use a standard screw driver that had a long reach but was quite narrow (I don't know the actual name for that kind of screwdriver if it has one). I reached in from the top, held the grip with my off hand and used the screw driver to put pressure on the spring. The spring is a straight piece that comes out of the handguard and fits into a notch in the mag release. To get it out you have to push over and back on it, sort of in an "L" motion. I think I pushed in on the mag release to reduce the distance I had to push the spring.

It took me a few tries but I got it out quite easily and replaced it just as fast.

I used the info on this page: Link

Edit: I messed up the link, fixed now.
