I imagine mags manufactured for Glock and sold by Glock will have better Glock compatibility/testing than the Stacatto contract mags. |

| Did my Glock Armorer recert. Spoke with the Glock guys there and they confirmed 15 round G43x mags coming in about a month. Will use OEM mag catch and be a metal body. The way they described it sure sounds similar to the MecGar mags. Also mentioned that the A Cut Gen 6 Glocks will be released before the Glock/COA combination will. |

How many years late is Glock on this? Shield has like 3 generations and Palmetto has a couple. ACT-mag is making metal 15rd 43x mags that ship with the Derya DY9Z. |

Far as I’m aware, they’ve got as good a reputation as MecGar. |

From what I have seen online (2 videos) they are not working very well in their micro clone. It's a strange clone. 43x size frame with a Glock 26 size slide. |

It's a strange clone. 43x size frame with a Glock 26 size slide. That is a little odd. Think I remember someone made a similar setup for the 320 with 365 mags. I’m more intrigued by the prospect of using them in a G43X, though. Shield arms has been chasing their tails trying to get their mags working, I’d give ACT the benefit of doubt since they’re a magazine manufacturer and ought to know wtf they’re doing. The MM CZ75 conversion seems to be picky when it comes to ammo selection, and they don’t like 147 HST. |

Far as I’m aware, they’ve got as good a reputation as MecGar. I'm using the Derya / ACT 15 round mags. They have worked fine for me, but my experience is limited so far about 100 rounds through each of the 2 I have. I mentioned them in the G43x Magazine thread awhile back. |
| I got a call from GT Distributors this morning that the 43X COA I ordered last year has arrived. I'll pick it up on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see if it has the new mags. |

Release about 75% of what customers ask for. Sell a bazillion. Release an update with the remaining 25% (but also probably lack in other areas now). Sell a bazillion more. And people empty their wallets happily. |

You are aware Shield mags are made by CheckMate right? CheckMate=ProMag in my mind Didn’t know they were the OEM for Shield. CM can make decent mags, but they’re definitely not the best, and the 15rnd 43X seem to be the most finnicky to get working due to the magwell being designed with excess space front and back for the polymer coated mags. Supposedly, they’re working on something with Taran tactical, as well. |

The guys at GT Distributors in Rossville, GA said they've been told the new 15-round mags should be in stock mid-April. They also said that Shield Arms apparently called them trying to dump a shit-ton of S15 mags. |

More times than I can count I've seen accounts of no issues whatsoever or absolute failure. It makes no sense. A lack of, or inconsistent QC is unacceptable to me. Gambling on if a magazine will function or not, especially when I need it most, is also unacceptable. That's why I won't buy Shield mags. It's not worth the risk, hassle or money. |

Havent felt like getting a duplicate gun and hoping it was also reliable with the current mags I have |

I was WTF? Now Shield replaced them as they should have. I never tried them though. Reverted back to OEM mag release and mags. |

Your correct about the latest drop of Glocks coming with 10rd magazines, I received a few this week. But, I don’t see Glock holding back the COA in any model just to unload 10rd magazines. They could sell everyone that they want to twice over. Aimpoint was the bottle neck in the supply chain. Plus there is a market for the 10rd magazines in restricted states. |

I even bought all new Glock internals. No problems with OEM mags. |
