Getting my first Glock this week, and I'm curious about holsters. Seems a lot of people like the Safariland 6004 series. What other holsters do you guys like? I've used a Blackhawk Omega Airborne for a long time with a 1911, how do they compare? Also, which lights are you guys mounting on your Glocks, and can you use the Safariland 6004 (light models) equally as well w/ the light detatched? Thanks for all the help you guys have been giving me. |

Not sure if this helps with your need for a certain style you want, but Blade Tech makes some holsters for pistols with lights. I originally was looking for one to fit the Glock light, but they had to be special ordered. I tried and liked the SureFire X200 B and like the Blade Tech offerings. http://www.blade-tech.com/home.php?cat=280 Good luck with your search. |
That's what i do. The blackhawk CQC light carrier holds my M3x either on my belt or on my oh shit bag. Having a light mounted on your pistol isn't really a big deal for CCW as most threats that will require you drawing will be right infront of your face and if some reason you're gonna have to stalk someone, you can take the 5 seconds to attach the light. |
Looks good, I like the Blade-tech I have for my Beretta (like this one except for the belt loop configuration) www.blade-tech.com/product.php?productid=824&cat=257&page=1 |
