I currently have a G-17 and absoultely love it. I am wanting to pick up another Glock, but I can't make up my mind on model. I have a large supply of 9mm and 45 ACP ammo, so I was thinking about one in either caliber. I have a lot of mags for my 17 and I even entertained the thought of getting another 17. The guns purpose would be just to have and shoot. Not really looking for concealed carry piece, but I do like the baby Glock in 9mm. Not sure of the model number. 26 maybe? Small framed 45 would be nice break from my 1911. What about the 45 GAP? I am not sure I want to invest in something ammo availablilty may end up being a problem with. What would you buy and why? Thanks... |

2 how do you like that 10mm? I have often thought if I was going to go with something other than the 9 or 45, it would be a 10. How hard is it to find un-neutered ammo for them. Most of what I have seen at my local shop says police load, or sub load. Store owner says its loaded to 40 cal levels. |
Yes most store bought 10mm ammo is loaded to 40 loads. The best is to do your own reloads or go to doubletapammo.com. They have a excellent selection of true 10mm loadings. |
I did part with my 17 for a 21...It's a great pistol |

I say if you want another 9mm try and snag a Glock 17L. Glock 21's are nice and so are their compact brother. Bit bulky but if you're not worrying about carry, then it's not a problem. I currently have a Glock 22 and a Glock 23 that I carry. Nice thing about the .40's is that you can go out and buy the .357 barrels and swap them out. So essentially you can have 2 guns with one frame. Just need to switch the barrels. |

My current fvorites are the G19 and G30. The 19 is a great ccw gun. The G30 is a little on the thick and heavy side for ccw, in fact a lot of people call it "the brick" but it shoots really smoothly, accurately, and throws a big hunk of lead. If you already have a 9mm, and you like 9mm and .45, get the G30. |
