I don't know what is so special about the CAT but this is the laser that I am using for my Glock. Ok, so it doesn't "flow" into the gun like the cat does but for 1/4 the price, I am fine with that.

I have a Lasermax unit and have no experience with the other units.  The cost is the only drawback to the Lasermax, but the quality and customer service is woth it.  The Lasermax unit pulses and the intensity of the laser is magnified.  It is easy to install, uses three silver oxide watch batteries, and average battery life is a year.  I emailed customer support and got a detailed answer, not a cookbook answer, back in a few hours.  It is easy to install and I would recommend it.  No special hoster required to carry a gun with it installed as it is an internal design.  If you  use a white light on the rail, you can still use your laser.  Good luck on what ever you chose.
