Anyone have any suggestions for a holster for a proud new owner of a G19?
I seen some uncle mikes, fobus at the gun store, but thought Id ask here before I buy.
Will the harder plastic types cause more wear on the finish than others?
Not that its gonna be a safe queen or anything, but more concerned if I ever wanted to sell it, someone would try to talk me down on the price just for a few holster marks....
I liked the looks of the fobus paddle holster.
I also want something to help conceal it.
Oh yeah, Im not a LEO, but do plan to carry and target practice and am fairly new to the pistol world.
Thanks

I don't own a Fobus but have handled many of them. I spent a little more for a holster from RM Holsters and gave it to my son as a gift. Then I picked one up for my G38 as they are very nice kydex holsters.
If you do decide on the Fobus and the gun is tight(I find this alot) then put the gun part way into the holster and warm it up a little with a hair dyer, then let it cool. Keep doing that until you get the fit you want.

+1 I have 2 of them.  They are really nice holsters, especially for what they cost.  And Jeff is a great guy to deal with.  Both of mine are Low Riders, but I've been considering an Extreme Cant Paddle to add to the collection.

You might look at the Blackhawk carbon fiber holster.

I carry my 23 and 27 in the low rider and my 17 in a paddle.  Very nice holsters at a very reasonable price.
