I am thinking of buying a light for my 21.  I have experience with the M3 and M6 (insight), but I like the way that the Glock factory light looks.  Does anyone know if the Glock light is as bright as the M3?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have a factory light and it is pretty damned bright.  I don't know if the M3 is brighter but the Glock light is bright enough to temporarily destroy someones night vision.

As much of a glock fan as i am . I hate their light. The controls feel to cheap to me. I prefer the controls of a surefire or insight over the glock light.  The insight M3 has a very solid feel to it. JMO

I have a M3 for work.  It is great.

I never used a Glock light.

I compared the brightness of both lights at a local gun show with new batteries in them and the M3 looked just a little brighter. As stated the Glock controls are a bit cheesy, the case feels thin and it will flex if you push on the sides. The Glock light is a pain to change batteries. Out of the 3 I like the x200 the best but the expense can chase you away.

Never handled the glock light but I love my M3. Controls are easy to get to and I don't notice any weight difference with it on.

creature of habit here....M3's, M6's, and that M3 LED is pretty cool too.... I have no idea what I'd use that LED for....but it makes a pretty glow so I like it.

Get a X200 from Surefire, you will NOT be disappointed and worth the money.

My two cents is stay off the attached lights all together...............why you ask??????

The gun was not designed to function with that boat anchor attached!!!!  It cuts down on reliability.  They did put an extra coil in some of the magazines, but if you MUST have one then ensure you have the more powerful springs!!!

I say just use a hand held light, a scorpion will only cost you 40 bucks!!
