I love mine. I use it for competition. There is only about an inch difference between it and my M17, but it does seem to be a little more accurate. I put the Lone Wolf adjustable trigger housing, the 4lb Wolf firing pin spring, the reduced power trigger spring, .25 trigger job and Ghost 3.5 connector. It's a very sweet setup for competition/range only.

I've got a G34 and I love it. Minimal muzzle rise and of course accurate.

You gotta have a G34 in your 9mm arsenal.
They are too cool. All the training you do with the 26, 19 and 17 gets accentuated to the positive shooting the 34 cause it's so stable and ergonomic.

Great nightstand gun...

What is the difference between it and the 17L??  Which are compensated?

The G34 is shorter than the 17L. I think Glock made the 34 to fit the IDPA box. I have one, but I actually find myself grabbing the 17 every time. I prefer the 17 over the 34 both for practice or competition be it IDPA or IPSC production.
I haven't noticed any difference in accuracy and I think I can be a little faster out of the holster with the 17.

If I had to grab a combo on the run it would be my M4 and my G34. I think its the closet glock gets to a 1911 style weapon even though its dbl stck 9mm. If Glock ever went with a single stack .45 ACP the 34 would be a great platform,IMHO of course
