So I came across this CMC trigger and it looks very interesting compared to most so called flat face trigger shoes, was wondering if anyone has any experience with this trigger? And if so what's the pros and cons of it, I know one huge CON is the price of it alone... I shoot stock Glock triggers the best I've tried lots of aftermarket brands and never had anything great to say about them or improve anything for me, actually made things worse, guess I just been shooting stock triggers to long? And come to enjoy them but this cmc one has me curious...
any info would be great. http://www.cmctriggers.com/glock-trigger-flat-gen4/ |
| You do not need expensive trigger kits to get a really good Glock trigger. If you spend over $30 to improve your Glock trigger you are getting ripped off. I get some do not like the shoe and I understand the want to upgrade the shoe/bar but aside from that two springs and a connector gets a nice trigger in a Glock. I change the trigger bar and on my compacts to a G17 smooth face trigger. |
ETA: Sorry did not see that you were referencing the CMC GLOCK trigger. No experience with them so I can't help you here
It is a well known fact that I am a big fan of CMC triggers, as I have said so in previous threads. I really like the the crispness of the break and the nearly non-existent overtravel of the trigger after the break. I have used CMC triggers in several ARs for a long time without any problems of any kind. I have sold a lot of them in the stores where I have worked. To my knowledge there have not been any reported problems with those units as well. They are reasonably priced right in the middle of the price range and are an excellent value for the money. In my personal experience they are the best you can buy for the money. ymmv. |
| had a chance to finger one at Triggrcon over the weekend, it has a lot of pretravel, same as factory if not worse! The break was very crisp and the reset was very short and very very nice. Had a chance to play with danger close armaments own tweaked version and that was something like magic! took all the pretravel out of it so probably not safe to carry but would make a great range gun. |
