I have a Timberwolf build.
It's a stock Trigger and bar, LWD connector and lightweight firing pin. It's so mushy and in my mind slow. I just polished everything nice and shiny in a 25 cent trigger job style and now it's just less gritty but still mushy. I have 2k-3k rounds through it and I think it's actually gotten worse than when I assembled it. I was considering a kineti-tech trigger but other than improving trigger feel and looks I don't think it'll make much of a difference in trigger pull. I know it'll never have a 1911 trigger but how do I get it closer or better than my VP9? I wish Geissele made a Glock trigger |

If you want a 1911 grade trigger get a 1911 if you want it to feel like a vp9 get that. Glocks. Are what they are accept them as is or use another platform. I can still want a better trigger and ask if I'm doing something wrong and how to improve it. |

I didn't want to make this a Glock vs. XXXXXX. I realize it can't have a 1911 trigger. I can still want a better trigger and ask if I'm doing something wrong and how to improve it. |

What were you trying to accomplish by changing the striker spring? IMO Unless you use a lighter striker with the spring it makes the trigger feel meh. Also changing just a connector to a lighten the trigger will make the trigger mushy that is the purpose of a heavier trigger reset spring. Quoted:

I wan't trying to accomplish anything. These are the bag of parts that came with sets when I built up my Timberwolf frame. I shoot the gun fine but I think it could be better. FYI I have a lightened firing pin, but as far as I'm aware the striker spring is not lighter. |

I just dropped one of these in my G19.
https://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?groupid=3252&name=Royal+Arms I also have a increased power trigger/reset spring, reduced power safety plunger spring, and ghost connector (3.5 lb). The trigger is GREAT now -- almost zero takeup, short and crisp reset, and the pull angle of the trigger face is almost straight back. I've tried Drop-testing it from about 5 feet at various angles, and have banged it around like crazy trying to cause an AD, and it has been g2g |
