I have a Gen two Glock 17 slide I was thinking about having night sights installed and refinished.
Question is will it hurt the value or is it really a non issue as Gen 2s are not that valuable anyway? Its over 20 yrs old and all original, just didn't know if it mattered. Thanks

| Considering how cheap glocks does this for I would say go ahead. I have never been a fan of refinishing in general but it certainly won't hurt anything in this case. In most cases my philosophy is refinishing always hurts value of older collectibles and does not add value to modern guns, and working guns are just going to wear again anyway. Same reason I rarely wash and wax my high mileage beater jeep |
