Is this going to be released to the public? What's the scoop on this gun?

Do you remember the Glock 43 saga?

Don't hold your breath.

Ask Indianapolis Metro what the "scoop" is on the G17M...

Who knows.  Glock can't even get them to the agencies that ordered them.
My LE dealer said he can't order it yet but if he can, he'll let me know.

Buy my guess is doubtful.

I had saved a FB post from GSSF about them only filling it for the contract agencies and MAYBE, not likely, blue label program.
But I'm too lazy to find the image.

Metro Indy PD got their fixed 17M guns in and are testing them again.

IMPD dropped the G17M in favor of the G17.4.

Werent the M's supposed to have a 1913 or picatiny rail. Looks like they ended up with a glock raik anyway

I think the specification stated -either- if memory serves.

(edit): the FBI specification which the "M" was developed that is.

I'm sure that they will release it, though it might be a while. Though I suppose that anything is possible, it seems extremely unlikely that Glock would design and manufacture a new model just to sell it to a few agencies and withhold it from everyone else.

people seem to forget the M is an FBI gun first, police gun second.

Yes, but remember Glock is in Business to make money.

Sales=Money
