So I came across this seeall sight and was wondering if anyone has used it ? or knows anyone who has one ? And if so do they like it? I really like the idea

My brother has one on his 45-70 contender, and I have shot it a bit. The little triangle and bars sight picture is a bit strange coming from someone used to conventional irons, and I don't think it is quite as effective for precision shot placement. It does require good eye placement relative to the sight as it does not have the the lateral and vertical freedom that most red-dot sights have. This makes it interesting when mounted on a pistol. It is about like lining up conventional irons in this respect.
The adjustments are a bit unintuitive, and lack known click adjustments. Sighing the thing in is a lot of trial and error. But, once sighted in, it holds up to the recoil of that 45-70 pistol. My brother seldom uses full power loads in it, however. One nice thing is that it does not require batteries. But, |
