My 8 year old wants a "Toy Glock" I have looked around a little and am not really seeing anything. Looks like Glock is suing the airsoft market on unliscened copy's. Anyone know where to find one? Doesn't have to shoot anything(wouldn't let him right off anyway).

8 might be old enough for him to have a real one depending on the child. Obviously it would be in your possession 100% of the time.  Maybe a G19 with a 22 kit?

Not really what you are asking but just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Check your local dollar stores, my little cousin had what looked like a scaled down 17. I think it was one of those that you just cock and pull the trigger, and it clicks. Could have also been one of those that makes the gunshot noise too, but I can't remember. I do know it was pretty cheap, with an orange slide and lime green frame. You could always paint everything but the tip black.

My 3 year old has this same one. Dollar store. It was a $1 and it makes noises.

Dollar Tree around us had both a Beretta 92 and a Glock toy gun.
Came with a removable suppressor, fake light and mount. It was orange and green.
It was kinda neat because when you screwed on the suppressor the noise went from a gunshot to a Hollywood suppressed gunshot

Here is a pic of the Beretta

This place is out of stock but may help your search

As an owner and user of airsoft GLOCKs you have to go to overseas company and have them imported.  GLOCK has sued domestic importers  and the supply of domestic GLOCKs is non existant.  If you have a local airsoft store and ask specifically for a WE GLOCK they may have one in the back they are willingt o sell you.  They won't be out on the shelf most likely and they won't be advertising they have them.

The two big overseas websites people use to get them are ARMY PANDA and AIRSOFT GLOBAL.  Keep in mind there is a chance that customs will seize the package, but myself and many others have had no issues.  I ordered from Army Panda and had mine within 3 weeks.  I've heard that Airsoft Global sends the frame in one package and the slide in another.  Army Panda sent it to me as a whole gun and Istill had no problem.  Cost after shipping will be around 100 dollars.  I think I paid 107 shipped.

These are also 1:1 pistols for the most part.  From more than a few feet away they look identical espeically with the orange tip removed.

It's more of a g19 in size.
We buy them for the kids to play...they had a decent m4 style one at one time. But those cheaper glock style last a while in kids hands.
Theres some cosmetic differences as you can see by the curved mag extension. But the slide is pretty much dead on.

I've got a green gas g17. By hks or hkc/uhc  or something. That thing was awesome.
Untill the o rings on the mags started leaking.
I really gotta go find some. It was great for doing force on force/indoor drills.

There are decent Glock-ish airsoft guns available in the US, but they had to change the appearance enough to avoid being sued.  Guns like the KWA ATP will fit in glock holsters and are great training tools, but are just a little off in looks.  If you're not against importing, KSC makes the go to one right now IMO.  The TM G19 is nice but won't fit in standard holsters... you have to size up to a G21 holster.  Here's the last one I got.

Damn that's kind of scary.

I like it.

I am not sure I would give it to a kid

Glocks restricts their blue guns to manufacturers or training/let.

Blackhawk makes a blaze orange one though.  It's cheaper too

If he's into Legos there is a company called Brick Gun that sells kits of different pistols and a few other things made of Legos. They use real Lego Bricks in the models and you can get kits that allow you to build more than one gun just not at the same time. They also sell the instructions so you can build the models using your own stash of Legos. The "BG 22" is their version of a Glock.

The Glock blue gun is a sim gun. That is not what is pictured above.  Rings blueguns is the maker- it is  a molded plastic non working copy.  They are made for many different makes/models

I would not let my kid have a 'play' gun that looks like a real pistol!

It would have to be totally a bright color so there wasn't any miss identification and be thought to possible be a real gun.

I wouldn't want to put a LEO in a position where he might think and act as if it was a real gun!

Well that's your call.

Most of us are smart enough not to let a child run around the neighborhood with a realistic replica pistol.

I think it could be a good tool to teach basic handgun handling with really low stakes.

As already mentioned it's hard to go wrong with a blue/orange training gun. I believe Blackhawk makes the orange ones and they are very cheap. The ASP ones are more expensive.

As a bonus you can use it for training and instructing new shooters.

Is the KSC closer to 1:1 than the WEs and TMs?   My WE is just a tiny bit oversized in the slide (the GLOCK slide is a tiny bit "rounder" on the corners than the WE slide which is what I think is making the difference) so it doesn't fit in all of my holster but most of them.

I've got an ATP as well and I found it fits M&P holster much better than GLOCK holster.

Years ago...me and my son always went into this one pawn shop.
One day we seen this "glock 17" asked about it...the owner said it dont work. He said....to my son, ya like that!?!? Then he gave it to him. He used to play with it all the time, had a real leg drop holster for a m92 that he used to play with. He still has it.

It has to be a airsoft pistol.

The closest you'll find in a state side online store to a GLOCK are the airsoft Timberwolf pistols and KWA ATPs.  They now make a compact (G26 sized) ATP as well.  The ISSCs are going to be restocked next month.  They are very GLOCK like but I'm curious as to how well they fit GLOCK holsters.

It's an exact match as far as I can tell, which is why I went with KSC.  Fits in all my 19/23 holsters.
