Im looking for some feedback and if I should push this with Glock further or accept their answer.  I have seen powder blow by or sortching at times but not this much, consistent, or happening between different ammunition brands.  I am getting consistent powder burn mark (Black) on one side of spent case down to extractor lip. Brass is not round as it has a high spot where burn is.  Gun its happening on is new G43 with 130 rnds through it.  Have another G43 purchased at the same time for gf and its brass looks normal.  Also have G26 gen4 with 75 rnds cycled and they look good.

Called Glock who were good to speak with.  Their service dept said they have tight (? Seems it would be opposite) tolerances to help make gun reliable and this blow by is normal.  I will attempt to post pics of brass for everyone to view once I'm on my computer.

Only other things different on this gun is it nicks the brass in one spot..  Small nick/dent which Glock said was extractor and normal. (other two don't do this).  Then when shooting the gun it seems I also get a lot of residue on my shooting hand.  Ends up being about half of my hand is black.

My feeling is to push further with them but looking for additional thoughts and suggestions on approach with them too.  Thanks all.

Thanks guys I'm new to Glock and have really enjoyed shooting them so far, very impressed.  It just seemed strange that it's not happening on the other g43, my g26, or my Taurus PT140 (yes know it's not a Glock had to upgrade at some point right)
I've seen powder residue before but not all the way down the brass, it's usually just at the top and only a very very short way down when there is residue.

I'll get to the range again with it and see if there's accuracy issues but was hitting steel pretty well at 10yds.

This. Brass doesn't completely seal against chamber.

You're over thinking things, just shoot it.

Typical of low powdered loads as someone else mentioned.

Ummmm.... Normal in most every handgun I've shot, different to some degree from one load/caliber to the other but still normal.

You can see the discoloration on the brass where I wiped the powder burn off and the one that I left alone.

I was shooting Winchester and PMC.

Yes I'll keep shooting and enjoying it.

I would swap the barrel with the other G43 & see if it continues. The barrel night not be totally in spec causing it.  While normal it is, excess might not be.

Then you can go back to Glock & ask for a new barrel if the problem seems to be less with the other barrel.

As long as the gun is running the findings are entirely inconsequential. Many light loads will do this in many guns. Do not seek to fix what is not broke
