How do you all like the ZEV adjustable drop in triggers? How do they compare to the stock Glock triggers? Is there other gun that you could compare the feel of the ZEV to?

Is it worth the asking price?

Disclaimer:

I'm a Zev fanboy, I also assume you are discussing the Fulcrum bar and trigger shoe only and not spring and striker change.

Like:

Can't live without em, on every Glock I own that they make em for.

Compare:

Tuff one, big difference, tune em how you like, shoe feels much better than factory.

Other gun compare:

Nope

Worth it:

That is totally up to the end user and his wallet.

Quality of what you pay for ? ...yes.

i have a Zev complete trigger kit, and yes it makes the gun completely different.  break is lighter, pull and reset are much shorter.

the only downside is the wallet pain it would cause if i bought 15 more for all the rest of my glocks.

Not the only  downside...
In some cases Glocks with ZEV kits are no longer drop safe if they land slide first.

Several reports of discharging when struck on the top / rear of the slide, along with some slamfires.
I was trying to find the latest thread on here but I'm having trouble with archive search.

A lot of that is due to people adjusting the pre-travel too much. They come perfect from the factory in most cases, but some people adjust to pretravel to take up all the FPS safety actuation.

I picked up a professional Fulcrum drop-in trigger for my Gen 4 G17.  I messed around a bit with the different striker springs, but ultimately left the stock one in the gun.  The Zev 2lb striker spring was WAY too light, and I couldn't find a discernible wall to stage a trigger.  Threw in the 3lb one, the wall was still pretty weak.  Ultimately, the stock striker spring was what I left in there.  The rest of the parts all improved the feel of the trigger.  I absolutely love this trigger right now.  The favorite item in there was the trigger shoe.  If I could have only one part of the kit, it would be the trigger shoe/safety.  Having the safety sit flush with the wide trigger (3x wider), is absolutely phenomenal.  The engagement is consistent and you don't even notice the safety nub against the finger.

All in all - thumbs up.  Would buy again.  Good luck OP!

I love the Professional Fulcrum trigger. I especially like the built-in, non-adjustable over travel stops too.

In your opinion, how does the Professional compare to stock as far as travel and wall.
I use the adjustable and might wanna try one (professional).

Why do I ask about stock feel when I use an adjustable already??:

Cause I adjust the Fulcrum to close to what stock feels like as far as travel (almost but not quite as much take-up before you hit the wall), this to me feels like a 2 stage trigger.

Since all my AR's are 2 stage and all of my Glocks pistol triggers are (kinda), it keeps everything feeling universal for me.

I believe this is a great function check for Glock triggers, no matter who made or installed them.

Any trigger bar install also needs an armorers end plate, so you can visually see what's going on!

I have an adjustable Zev with a 3.5# connector in my G19 and love it. It's infinitely more crisp then the soggy carrot like break of a factory trigger.

The Professional Fulcrum has about 3/4ths the take-up, and about 1/2 the wall of the stock. Think of it as the stock trigger, but with a little less take-up, and a lighter wall. Definitely still feels like a two stage trigger. I prefer it over the Adjustable Fulcrum trigger.

However, to really get the best, get the Professional Fulcrum Ultimate kit. It's amazing man! The entire Professional Fulcrum kit came in both my Zev 43 and Zev 19 from Zev. I think it's their best trigger, and one of the best triggers out there.

Thanks.

I figured you would know

I need to get one for when I get around to playing with the G20, cause I stole the Zev shoe from it for my 43

If I wanted a no bullshit, work gun, safe-to-use as a hammer safe zev trigger, is the Pro fulcrum drop in what I need?

That is correct. Has a safe amount of take up and isn't TOO light.

I will also say that I have had great results with just the bar (have not tried the pro yet, just the adjustable) and connector and leaving the rest factory Glock.
All my full size Glocks have Zev bars and connectors, they are reliable and safe.

My 19, has been thru tac pistol class, and at least 2500 rounds with zero issues.

All that said, I would try the kit you posted, if it is too light for your taste, put all factory springs back in and use bar/housing and connector.

The shoe alone is night and day difference

That's exactly what I ordered, absolutely love it.  The red safety makes it shoot more accurately, given how sweet it looks ;)

The only thing I'd say is to experiement with the different striker springs.  In my above post, I outlined some experiences.

I have two fully adjustable drop in fulcrum triggers and they are super nice, but I also paid $115 for new one and $95 for a used one.

So if I can find them cheaper I would go that route.
