Went out with my lady today she made me go to the mall, makeup stores, world market, BBB, jewelry store (bought a teddy dog for St. Jude child for Xmas), and after all that I want to swing by my local gun shop.  Finger banged a Sig Legion P226 SAO (maybe Xmas gift) then hit the used section and there it was a G43.  Still has the copper goo, no wear on the barrel hood, or no ghosting on the barrel.  All the internals are still dull no shining even on them.  I am not a huge fan of the G43 because it is a little small in my hands but I always said I would not buy one new but if I got a good deal on a used one I would snag one.

Now I need to find a smooth face trigger and some better sights.

Congrats, you will like it.
Grip was too small for me as well, I used TT base plates to get the length where it fit me.

Now i have a single stack with a grip length about the same as a 17

Not the length it is the grip circumference.  The Gen4 pistols are to small in my hand without a grip panel.  A G21 feels good in my hands.  I bought the Walther PPS because the bigger backstrap with the hump fills a void in my hand that many SS9 pistols do not fill.  I sold my LC9 because I physically could not grip it tight enough to hold it in my hand.

Love my 43. It made my j frame obsolete. The first clip I fired took out all six plates on the plate rack.

Glock offers very attractive pricing on night sights.

It took me a while to get used to 42 and 43, because of what you stated on grip.
Grip paper grips helped me a lot, sometimes I still think my trigger finger will wrap around and hit the mag release.

I shoot trigger finger in em as deep as it goes, I can't shoot finger pad.

I really bought it more for when I take out new shooters so they can try the G43.  My carry is a G19.4 I may BUG the G43 possibly.

Who makes a smooth faced trigger for the G43 my google-fu cannot seem to find a replacement trigger bar?

Not sure, I stole the Zev shoe from my G20 fulcrum.

Says to just order shoe and then use your bar for G43.

I bought a new OEM G17 trigger and used the shoe in my G43. It's been working great so far.

Going to have to do that.  I hate the feel of the ribbed trigger.
