Anyone have a recent set of both Glock Night sights and the Mepro sights?  I am trying to see if the Glock Sights are exactly the same as far as the dot size and dot structure?

Glock uses Mepro.  IMO they are the best basic 3 dot night sight when compared to other 3 dot night sights(emphasis on basic).  Mepro are usually brighter than other brand sights.

Price wise they are about the same.  I think I will just get the mepros. Thanks.

Really? Glock will install night sights for $57 including return shipping and all new slide internals (if you send the slide stripped). I also believe the Glock branded mepro's have the same finish as the slide, as well as a longer warranty for the vials. As a bonus, your sights will say Glock on them which I like.

Can't beat that price anywhere that I have ever seen.

I do not think Glock uses the Glock branded sights anymore.  The ones I have seen have the TruDot in dark green on them.  My G32.3 came with night sights stock and they were Mepro TruDot they have since been migrated to my G17.2.

Glock does still use Glock brand NS ("G" stamp with MH3 on the other side)

My most recent issue G17.4 has them, and I just got a set for my newest G19

The OEM sights and commercial Meprolights are basically identical, I prefer the Glock OEM sights because they have the same finish as the slide (visually anyway) and look like they are factory.

I am looking at a set of Glock OEM night sights I just bought a week ago from Glock and they say "Glock" on them. So does the set of OEM night sights that came on my Gen 4 G19 that is less than a month old.

For the record the Glock sights are $70 when you factor in GA state sales tax (That they charge everyone) and shipping.  Still a great deal but not $57.00.

Maybe they have changed back.  My 32 has the NS from the factory but where TruDot on the side of them.

Last Glock night sights I bought (cheap from Glock) have the Glock logo on top of the front and rear, AO on the rear sight left side and AO2 on the front sight left side.  No marks on right side.  Rear has MH3 on top right side while the front has MH3 on the front of the sight.

I bought a Glock 19.4 in March and had the same marked Glock night sights.  I ordered the same sights from the Glock web store to put on an Advantage Arms 22 conversion slide.  I sent off a Friend's stripped Glock 42 Slide in December of 2015.  It came back with the same marked Glock Night sights plus all the internal parts were installed.  I sent in a money order for $57 and shipped the slide in a padded envelope with i surance which cost about $7.50.  Glock paid for tbe return FedEx shipping.

Price for me is the same as I will install my own.

I can say this:

I have over a dozen Glocks. All but one have night sights. They are made by mepro and look the same to me (green dots at night).

However, I do own trijicon too. They are smaller it looks to me, but, they have a lense over them which seems to make them 'clear' if that makes sense.

Also, the biggest thing that matters I've found is: do they glow in the dark.

Next: Glocks FBI contract specifies that the 17M/19M have either trijicon or a sight that is similiar. So, it would not surprise me if Glock has went to another contractor to supply their night sights. That's all I know about those for the time being.

Am I happy with the Glock sights as compared the other brands I have? Answer, yes. The have a slightly bigger dot to me. But, daylight, their white dots. Some of the others have different colors surrounding the tritium tubes. I guess it's all in what you want and what ya wanna pay for. 56 bucks, to me anyway, really can't beat it. It you have many or several Glocks, I would get a MGW (Maryland Gun Works) sight pusher. They make one that is specifically for Glock. They are very well made. Stay away from Glocks sight pusher. Those, IMO, suck.

This is not correct. They have never charged me sales tax, and $57 includes return shipping. So it costs be $6 to ship to them in a USPS flate rate box.

The fact that they will give you $70 in free slide internals makes it a crazy deal.

Everything I read and see says the two you asked about are the same.

I had Aro-Tek sights on a 19 that I loved.  The rear is like a Novak, is easily installed and easily adjustable WITHOUT a sight pusher-very streamlined.    The front and rears both attach with screws.  You can buy from Aro-Tek or get them at Brownell's etc.  You can buy individual front, rear or sets.  They make a yellow tubed rear that works great with the bright green front and they can tell you which rear to use with a factory front.  They used to make orange rears which worked really well with a green front.

A set of Meprolights are less than that on sale and I can install them in about 10 minutes at home.

Have Factory NS I ordered from Glock on my 23 and just installed on my 19. They have not changed. Delivered with tax was $65.

I my opinion they are the best way to go. Factory look, good quality, great price.  Not bad to install. I installed them on my 23, but didn't
feel like bangin' on my 19 with a hammer(not for the faint of heart) and my LGS offered to install them for free since they weren't busy.

I installed from Glock a OEM front night sight, part no. NF17G24 w/tritium insert on a G19. How does everyone seem to know who provides Glock with the tritium inserts they sell in their night sights? Does Glock advertise this? I'm curious. Thx.
