Putting a Gen 3 trigger, Ghost connector and new sights on her. Not sure what sights I'm trying next, do not want rear tritium. I would suggest a Gen4 trigger bar over the 3. The Gen4 has benefits over the Gen3 and the myth of the Gen4 vs Gen 3 trigger pull being different is nothing more than a myth I have gauged it. |

I have I-dot pro's and I like them but, my next set will be Hack's. |

I have to respectfully disagree with this, I don't have a gauge but I have played around with several combinations in my gen 4's using both trigger bars. The gen 3 bar always seems precievably lighter when used with the same connector. Enough to me that it's hard to distinguish the gen 3 bar with dot connector from a gen 4 bar and minus connector, which is how I currently have them configured. Just my .02 |

Just my .02 Try a different gen3 and gen4 bar and your results can vary. Sometimes new parts match up better than others or are created smoother than others. I found that parts that mate better yield better results than gen3 vs gen4. What probably happened is the bar you had moved better against the connector than the other bar. Well worn together parts will be even better. If you had kept the gen4 the bar would have eventually mated to the connector and yeilded the same result. This is why you cannot judge you Glock trigger till it gets some miles on it. It was not till around 500 rounds my 19 with the 17 smooth trigger started feeling good. It is around 2.5K and is smooth as glass and the more I shoot it the better it continues to get. |

Ended up putting TFX-Pros on mine. I liked the gray so much it's replaced my more elderly 19 in the carry rotation. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v234/THR-Thumper/0131161042a_zpsymkkbxxi.jpg Only problem I see is that the one 19 was customized to fit your hand better and with these grey or bronze guns, you are stuck with the awful finger bumps and no undercut that the stock 19 suffers from. |

If you do swap the trigger, I'd suggest a smooth face. The Gen IV trigger is supposedly heavier because of the addition of a nub that's there in case you switch it to left-handed.

You could still modify it of course. It would detract from its value though. |

storminnorman, I to like the Grey G19.4, but hate the Black Mag Release. So I got the Vickers Tactical GEN-4 GMR-3 Extended Mag Catch in Grey. It makes the Grey G19.4 look soo much better. My next purchase is going to be the Vickers Tactical Magazine Floor Plates VTMFP-001 in Grey. That way my Grey G19 will be almost all Grey ! Quoted:
Those look the same as my TFOs from this angle. I thought the TFX had a shorter length front and rear sight, as well as a straight edge on the front of the rear sight? Not quite, The TFX is the same length as the TFO's excelt that the TFX & TFX Pro's have the "White Focus Lock ring on the front sight for rapid target acquisition". TRUGLO & Glockmeister collaborated on a Tactical Night Sight that has the TFX Pro Front Sight, BUT the Rear Sight DOES NOT have the FIBER OPTIC section, and is therefor shorter. http://www.glockmeister.com/Glockmeister-TRUGLO-Tactical-Sight-65mm-Orange-FFR/productinfo/GMEISTER4/ |

now you need a G17 trigger for it!
