Has anyone who owns a 43 noticed a fair amount of side to side, slide play? I know glock's slide tolerances vary from gun to gun. Just wondering if anyone has noticed it on the 43.

They all have a little, its nothing to worry about.

This sounds like something a 1911 shooter would say, Glocks aren't 1911's.

Fair amount is not a very quantitive descriptions.  Does it move 1 micron, 1 millimeter, 1 centimeter, 1/2 in 1/8" 1/16"?

Like previous poster they are not hand fitted they do have a certain degree of tolerances and play.

I'd say about a 32nd of movement

I have had mine maybe two weeks. It has no play in it. Of course I haven't shot it yet...

I just got mine Saturday.  It has a lot less play in the slide then all my others, but it is still pretty tight.  You will find some as the frame does flex a small amount and I don't think any two are quite the same dimensions since it is still a polymer with steel inserts.  Try and go by your LGS and compare them.  It's really the only way you can reassure yourself.

If it runs and puts bullets where you want them how loose it is means nothing. A gun that runs and delivers sufficient accuracy for the job at hand can be loose as a $5 hooker and it won't matter. The only thing important is results at the firing line and on target

Take a cell phone shot with neutral, left, and right.

None of the Blocks I've had have had considerable play.
