| That is called "flame cutting". The case ruptured and the chamber contained the pressure of the burning propellant. There is no way to fix that. Once the metal is flame cut, its gone. Contact Glock, tell them what happened, show them your pics and send them your barrel. They will cut you a good deal on a new one. |

It still seems to shoot the brass cased ammo ok, but I'll probably look into a new barrel. It does look like more than just the finish is gone in the chamber. |
