I have a friend that has a great condition Glock 17 gen 1 for sale with the original 10 round mags. Is $350 for this model a good price?

$350 is a good price, but are you sure it's a gen 1?  Gen 1's came out before the assault weapon/high cap ban.  Even if it's a later generation Glock, $350 is a great price.

I paid $440 for my Gen 1 about a year ago after shipping and transfer, so I'd say that's a good price. Traded it to a guy for some mechanic work on my car that was worth more than $440.

$350 is a fair price I would probably pull the trigger on that price and I have no desire for a Gen1.

Can you post a pic of the gen 1??? I've been looking for one. In good shape, low use condition.

As the other post stated, are you sure it is a gen 1? If it has it's original magazines, it's not a gen 1.

If you can post a pic of the pistol focusing on the grip in good light, also, please post a pic of it's magazine(s), with the top front/side of mag; front is where the numbers are and the top metal lip, near the follower. Also, the pistol serial numbers first two letters (of serial number).

I just sold a Gen1 for $380.00.  But it was a factory rebuild so it didn't have the original black internals and had been factory refinished. a like new sample with the original black internals, box, U mags, ect is worth about $600

It will be about two weeks before I get to see him again, I will take pics and post em then. He's not really pushing to sell, he just made mention to me at the range yesterday that he had thought about selling. I wasn't really interested until he said 350.00

gen 1, no checkering, no light mount, no nothing.  they call it the soap bar.  just a fake no skid surface everywhere.  I love mine, bought it used in 1991.  for 300$ back then.

don't they have some high value in pinko states, like 600$ and up.
