So I picked up my 19 MOS earlier this week and just ordered my RMR. Just wondering if I have everything needed to mount it and be good with the hardware that came with the MOS and what will come with the RMR. Thanks in advance.

Yes you need the trijicon mounting kit for it to mount correctly and keep the battery in the unit

Well I don't know if it matters but I got the dual illuminated with no battery. Didn't want to have to worry about changing them.

You still need the kit. The screws that come with the RMR are too long.

I ordered the Dual Illuminated 12.9 moa amber triangle. Couldn't find the green anywhere for what I paid. Was thinking about getting a dot but wanted to stay with the dual illuminated with no battery and also didn't want a 9 moa.

Having had ALL variants of the RMR during the past 4 years, the amber is IMO, better than the green.

That's reassuring. Thank you. How do you like the dual illuminated? I'll post pics once I get it all put together. At just under $400 brand new I thought it was too good to pass up.
