Hi all
Currently I have a Gen 4 Glock 23; love the size and fit. Finally a Glock that I feel comfortable with. Enough so that I plan to get a Gen 4 19 at some point. However ... thinking of getting it's big brother, the Glock 22. Having said that, I'd rather not buy it and think "Crap, not my cup of tea." I've shot a Gen 4 Glock 20, and a Gen 3 Glock 21. I found both to be just a bit too large for me to hold comfortably. Can anyone tell me if the Gen 4 Glock 20 and 22 are same size frame, or will the 22 be more like the 23? Thanks. |

The G22 frame is just a bit longer. With the G23 you're pinky is likely at the bottom of the grip, with the 22, you'll have a little grip below your pinky. Also, if you're middle finger feels a little close too the trigger guard on the G23 it won't on the G22. The large frame guns like the G20/21/29/30 are much thicker in the grip. |

The Gen4 17/22/31 frames feel smaller in the hand than the 19/22/32 size to me since the hump is further down and the finger grooves are further apart.
I never could get comfortable with the 19 and ended up cutting the bottom of the grip off a 17 to accept 19 mags and it fits me 10 times better than the 19 did. The 19 feels fat and cramped up to me. |
