And it is so you can pry your thumb into the little cavity to get under the magazine floor plate to pull the mag out if the mag doesn't drop when released. |

A Glock mag has enough protruding that you can pull it out by the sides if you need to. A really huge chunk of shit can go in through the butt hole, but what really can make it in through the slide, past the connector and trigger housing, and fall out through that hole?? Nothing. |
