| Now shoot shoot shoot! I have TruGlo TFO's on mine and like them but there's a lot of nice choices. If you have a favorite on some other gun there's probably a size to fit the 43. I like the larger fiber diameter that the TFO's have on a carry gun so I pick them up fast but for range type distances I use a finer fiber Dawson. I prefer 147gr. Federal when it's holstered but it hasn't been at all picky regardless of brand or weight. Other than sights I've left everything alone on mine and it seems just great to me for carry... |

I prefer the Ameriglo Hackathorn sights, (All black rear with the front night sight surrounded by an orange halo.) I run TTI+2 base pads, and polish the trigger parts and run 3.5 TTI or Ghost connectors. Then shoot the hell out of it. I second this. I've got the Hackathorn sights as thats what it came with. I hated the trigger so I polished the parts and dropped in the ghost connector. Trigger is now nice and smooth and I can definitely be more accurate with it. Out of the box it felt like it was about 7 lbs. I also stippled the frame (I know I know, so many are against this) and it feels like I get some good purchase on it now. I also have a TTI +1 extension on it. Hopefully Magguts will come out with a +1 spring as well. I've got all 3 mags loaded with Speer GD 124 gr HP's. Enjoy it! I love how easily it conceals. I don't quite feel it is small enough for pocket carry, but that's ok. I can easily see wearing this IWB with shorts and a tshirt. |

Quoted: I've been thinking of some sights that are blacked out in the rear. Dry firing ok with this one??? Buy a factory front night sight. Keep your factory rear and black out the white line or turn it around. Or buy a plain black rear from someone like AmeriGlo. Buy some snap caps for cheap insurance. GLOCK no longer says unlimited dry firing is OK. |

If you take the slide apart do it in a plastic bag so you don't lose the little parts. I lost the spring loaded bearing 2 months ago and have not been able to get another.
Finally picked it up from Scottsdale gun club after 4 weeks and now trying to get glock to help me. Called glock a month ago and they said I had to get a glock armor to order it, glockmister didn't have it and wouldn't or couldn't help me so I went to Scottsdale gun club. |
| Mine's been totally reliable with any ammo I've fed it, including Remington 115gr JHP, Speer 124gr Gold Dot +P, my 124gr FMJ, 147gr JHP, and 147gr Hi-Tek coated reloads. I recommend sights (night if for carry), extra mags, and the Pearce +1 floorplates for most of them. |

I prefer to put the rubber Talon Grips on my Glocks. I installed 2 Pearce +1 mag extensions. Buy an extra mag with a flat base for an extra concealing option when needed. I put Glock Night Sights on. They were a cheaper route than the Trijicon GRN/GRN night sights (I have these on the 19); however, the Trijicons are my favorite, but wasn't worth the extra $50-$70. Get the 2 combo deal at Alien Gear Holsters. I chose the Cloak Tuck 3.0 and the Slide Tuck OWB as my two. I love them and you save 20% when doing the combo. It came out to be $74 total, including the $5 extra for dying the leather for the OWB black and the 2 day USPS shipping. Also I have all 3 mags slammed with Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P |

Why don't you send it in to Glock? If you take off the rest of the parts and send it in for night sights, they will put all new parts in it (including a spring loaded bearing) except for the barrel and recoil spring assembly. If you don't want night sights, send it in and tell them you need a replacement. Obviously they have parts if they're replacing them for those of us who bought sights. |
