Well I have finally started the switch over from Sig.  Now to start looking for a holster. I have a few I am looking at Incog, Raptor, and Eidolon.  Off to youtube.  Is there anything I should get for the pistol? it was 460 something out the door using the GSSF coupon. I couldn't imagine paying full price. I get to go pick it up on Sunday after 10:30

Night sights are nice.

Extended slide release depending on your grip style.

What kind of holster are you looking for? IWB, AIWB, OWB?

What is your preferred holster type? If it's a hybrid, consider both double-clip and single-clip varieties. The G19 is small and light enough that single-clip holsters work well with it. I have a N82 Professional and a CrossBreed Super Tuck for mine to go along with an all-kydex OWB (Concealment Solutions Cobra). There is also a Glock Sport/Combat holster (I use it with the G19 and G17 for the range).

Good fighting night sights. If you like 3-dot, check out Trijicon HDs. Two-dot, AmeriGlo I-DOT Pros or CAP Sights. My choice is AmeriGlo CAP Sights in orange.

Extra mags, both G19 and G17. Maybe even a G18 mag for fun and HD. Add at least three more.

Vickers mag base plates are interesting.

For some reason, I like a grip plug on the G19. I don't on any other Glock. I use the Ghost version.

PS: I have yet to see one in the wild but that Eidolon holster is intriguing. I con't carry AIWB but it looks like it could work very well for strongside carry at 3:00 - 5:00.

Welcome to the only pistol you'll ever want to carry again.  Bought mine Feb 2013 and still love it to death.  Congrats Bro!

Bought my 17 with intentions of it being my final glock. Played with the 19 and I was hooked. It's now my duty weapon and daily carry. Great lil gun.

Eta for IWB holster I went alien gear 3.0. Love that damn holster. For OWB I use bravo concealment.

I am looking for  IWB, AIWB. I am also looking at the Wilson combat sights the dark rear and what ever in front along with the extended takedown lever and vickers slide release. Are the magpul mags good or should i just hunt around for glock mags. When I get my next GSSF coupon I will be getting a 17. I heard that they sometimes send out a extra coupon throughout the year. Wouldn't that be nice. I am also interested in this

After the G17, you'll need the G43. You'll then have everything covered and can buy more Glocks on impulse after that.

Negative. That's the G34.

The G43 is the single-stack for deep concealment. It shoots like it's big sisters and carries like a dream.

First thing I did with my G19 when I got it I ordered night sight (Heinie Slant Pro straight 8 night sights my preference of sights) and a G17 smooth face trigger because ribbed is for her pleasure not my finger.

Then I did my normal trigger mods so my G17/34 mirrored the setup on my G19.

If you're new to Glock not just handguns in general stick with the same holsters you were using before. Night sights are the only must have upgrade the pistol needs and honestly that is something you'll need to pick out yourself due to perso al preferences.

I got my Vickers mag plates and mag release from Red State Tactical.

I also ordered a Raptor the other day, but they've got at least a few week wait so it'll be a little bit before I get it.

I am thinking I might start with the Eidolon because I am left handed, so if I ever sell it I can sell the holster also and stop collecting them.

Add me to this list  that uses a MTAC. Been using mine for 3-4 years but, it's because I carry mine with a SF X300. For AIWB, I really like the Incog.

I guess they are going to make the incog for pistols with lights. Can you guys post pics of your MTACs please I am left handed but I just want to see how it rides.

Raven Vanguard 2 and Mepro nights.
The Glock nights are terrible. I've got a few pistols with the factory Glock nights and they went dark a long time ago.
My carry gun has a set of Mepros and they're still strong after 8 years.

For AIWB, the Raptor is amazing.  I attached the included thinner belt clip option (similar to Incog clip), and the Raptor hides my G19 amazingly well on my towering 5' 8" 145lb frame, LOL.

That claw is no joke.  It really does pull grip in closer to your body and hides the gun extremely well.  I'm eyeing a Sidecar next.  They'll make you a Raptor in lefty.  No worries there.

here is the MTAC.

MTAC Holster

I was actually mistaken on the model that I've been using with the G19/X300 I carryand it's the CTAC. I use the MTAC when carrying my standard M&P and for the record, I'm a lefty as well.

CTAC - Ligter/Laser IWB

ETA: Totally missed the part about posting pics.. My fault and can't get any pics till tomorrow.

Been looking at TREX for OWB with a G17 with TLR-1, for a belt or molle. Yours isn't the first comment I've read complimenting their product and them personally as a company.

Okay new part What about Wilson combat battle sights. I like the thought of the rear being blacked out and only having a front sight, Are fiber optic fronts glow in the dark? My sigs all came with night sights so I have never had to mess with my optics.  I have ordered 5 pmags from AIM, Lone wolf extended takedown lever, 5 vickers mag base plates, a vickers tactical slide stop, and a pearce plug.

Have you seen the Trijicon HDs?  They basically behave like fibers in the day (although not quite as bright) and three-dot nights sights in the dark.  The rear is blacked out but still have tritium inserts.

Yep.  The tritium inserts make the HDs perform like normal night sights in the dark.

Ameriglo I Dot Pro's are the exact same front sight as the Trijicon HD's and the rear is just slightly different. I would save your money and buy the I Dots on Amazon for $82 shipped for the exact same product versus the HD's for nearly double. All of my Glocks sport I Dots except for the 42 and 43.
