I have a G19 with factory night sights.  I noticed today that it is loose.  It doesn't come out but clearly wiggles.  Is this normal and if not how do I fix this?

Thanks

Is it staked in, or screw on? If it's staked in, you may beable to have it restaked. If it's a screw on, put a drop of locktite on and tighten it down again. A armorer or gunsmith should take care of it for you if you can't.

what he said

I have a G19 and my fiber optic front sight which is a srew on came loose,  I just tightend it up with some blue loctite and hasn't moved since and that was well over 6 months ago with a lot of shooting and carrying everyday.

It is staked on.  The sight has a figure eight shape to it that matches up to the hole in the slide if you look at it from the underside of the slide.  Are there any home remidies to this if it staked?

Same thing happened to my G26 with factory night sights.  My range has the Glock front sight tool and they fixed it quickly for free.  Most Glock armorers should be able to help you out.  In hindsight, I would have gone with the Mep screw ons.  The staked on front sight from the factory doesn't compare IMO.

I am starting to look at it the same way.  Where can you find a list of Glock armorers?

If you were nearby, I'd help you out, I'm an armorer. Sorry. Check if you have a Glock Sport Shooting Foundation Match coming to your area. A armorer will help you out for free. There is a staking tool, or you can try a punch if you can't get to an armorer or gunsmith. You can also order a screw on front sight from Glock, just make sure it matches your current rear sight for height. I would call Glock before you do anything and tell them the problem, they are really good about helping out, so give them the chance to make it right.
