Took my mother to the range for the first time since she wants to learn to shoot and become comfortable with a handgun for when my father is out of town, and I ended up buying myself a G43 in the process lol.
I wanted something more concealable for CHL than my G23, but I am either spoiled by the ZevTech trigger in my G23, or the trigger on this G43 is terrible. Does anyone have any experience with Taran Tactical's Trigger connector? Does it help? Also, does anyone have any lead on 147gr Federal HST's? I cant find them anywhere... I can find plenty for my 40cal but nothing in 9mm. Thanks in advance! |

I got the TTI connector for my G43 about a week or two ago. I haven't put any rounds downrange with it yet. However, the feel while dryfiring is much improved. It feels like a "normal" Glock trigger, not the heavy G43 trigger that reminded me of a + connector or NY1 spring.
I look forward to actually shooting with it. |

It felt a little better in my wife's G43. Maybe a half lb different on my scale. Went from about 6.5 to 6. I need to polish it up. Gonna burn another couple hundred rounds through it first. Quoted:

Please keep me posted on your experience with it. Since this is going to be a carry gun, I want to make sure it stays reliable first and foremost, but if it does infact help smooth out the G43 trigger, even if it brings it to what a Glock normally feels like, I'd be happy and would pick one up |

All 50 rounds ran flawlessly. There were no issues with the trigger failing to reset, light strikes, or any other trigger related problems. In addition to the lighter break weight, the reset is not as defined. The OEM connector offered a manly "click" when easing the trigger out while the TTI is mushy and faint. The break weight is what I want in a gun. It's not too light, reminding me of the break of a normal double-stack Glock. It is by no means a 1911 trigger as it offers the classic spongy Glock trigger we all know and tolerate. I was hesitant to try an aftermarket connector as I once purchased a Ghost connector for a G34 that wouldn't run, and eventually broke while being adjusted. No more Ghost connectors for me. |

Good to know! Thanks for the heads up with it! I had a chance to break in the new Pistol which is still factory and while shooting I notice the crappy trigger less than when I do dryfiring. But All of my groups are exactly 1" to the left... Not sure if its the difference in triggers and im pushing on it more, or the fact the pistol's skinnier. Not upset as everything's still in the bulls eye just on the left edge lol I'm going to keep it stock for now it seems, and save for some HD sights. |

With the new sights I put on, if I shoot VERY slow and deliberately, I can shoot roughly POA/POI at 7 yards. If I shoot faster, I'm low and left, just how I am with most other Glocks. I don't seem to have that problem with other guns (CZ, 1911, HK). |
