| Picked up a blue label Gen 4 today...gonna be competition Gun. I have a AA trigger inbound....what sights are you guys using? I have TFO's on my 17,19 and 43 |

Dawson black adjustable rear and FO front. The rear adjustable is higher than I prefer and subject to less reliability but necessary for different loads used in competition. The FO front is the most preferred for competition shooters and me.
My second choice is the Dawson fixed sight sets with a black rear and FO front. You probably are seeing a pattern in sight brands with my recommendations. Dawson specializes in sights and has very good products. |

dawson makes pretty good competition sights
Personally, i prefer adjustable sights, i know a lot of folks like fixed but my next glock will have dawson adjustable rear for sure. Probably fiber optic front sight as well. I am not sure about fiber optic rear though... |

I have Trijicon HD sights on my 34, and 10-8 sights with the gold bead on my 17L, Heine Slant Pro black on Black sights on my 17.
Sights have a lot to with your vision (Age) and intended use. I am 54 and use reading glasses. At this point, I can pick up the Trijicon HD sights faster than all others. The big bright Orange dot is my best friend. In bright sunlight, I still prefer black on black Heinne Slant Pro sights because I like seeing the lines on the front sight as I acquire my sight picture. When it comes to shooting plates at speed, the 10-8 sights with the fine gold bead front sight has no peer....when I am wearing @#$%ing bifocals. Like trying on a pair of shoes. See If you can shoot someones gun with the sights you want to purchase before you buy them. There are lots of great choices out there. Good shooting sir. |

Quoted: For comp I'd use a .115 10-8 fiber optic front with 10-8 .140 rear sight. Awesome for competition and very durable fiber optic. This. I run this setup on all of my "long slide" Glocks (17/34). I run the same front with the .156" rear on all my short slide Glocks (19/26). I run them on comp guns, carry guns... Everything that doesn't require suppressor height sights really. I've tried several other options (Proctor, Warren/Sevigny, etc.), and I always come back to 10-8. |
