I am looking for a glock to be my back up gun to my 22 or 23. I normally carry my 22 OWB or the 23 IWB. Seeing that I have the .40 cal glock mags, I was thinking that the 27 would be the right idea for a pocket pistol, but at the same time it seems like it maybe a little to big to fit that roll. Now since the glock 43 is out that seems like a pretty solid pick for a back up. Anyone have any expereince with pocket carrying a 27 or a 43, if so tell me what you like and do not like about it.

How big are your pockets?

I pocketed a 26 for a while. Loose enough pants and a long shirt and you can pull it off

I tried pocket carrying a 27, didnt like it.  I pocket carry an m&p 340.  I am gonna get a 43 to pocket carry.

If you have biggish pockets, the 43 would work.  Especially with one of those trigger guard holsters tied to a belt loop with paracord (so that when you drew, it comes off when the cord goes taunt).

I pocket carry a G43 during the week and OWB carry it when not working. I think most consider it a little big for pocket carry but it has been working great for me as a dual purpose pistol. For pocket I use a full coverage kydex holster that's designed to be used for pocket carry. It fits fine in the right front pocket on cargo shorts, as long as the pockets are deep enough. Haven't tried it yet but I don't think it's going to work well in jeans pockets. Unless they are loose fitting jeans.
Honestly I would not even consider carrying a G26/27 in the pocket. Just too heavy imo.

I'm loving the 43. Fun and pleasant enough at the range and with some new +2 mag extensions, it'll make a great 8+1 primary carry too.

whatever your decision, you might look at the Recluse twin sided holster... it has a slit down the front that allows you to grip the pistol, while retaining a full flap outside to break up the pistol's outline... shown with a G42... this holster is designed for cargo pockets... for regular pockets, it is tapered

I can pocket carry a 43 in everything except dress slacks/suits.  For those I use a smaller .380.

I can't pocket carry a 26 (don't own a 27, but same size) in anything without printing unacceptably.

YMMV, individual build and clothing choices make a big difference here.

I've carried the G30s in a cargo pocket quite a few times.  IT conceals just fine but does swing around a good bit if I'm walking fast or running.

Get a G27 to go with your other 40's.
I've used one for years.

Unless you have huge pockets I can't imagine myself carrying a 27. I had to carry one in an ankle holster when on the department.

43 is as big as I would personally go for pocket carry but I carry the 42.

I pocket carried a Glock 19 for two years. It's all about the size of the pockets and fit of the pants.

The Glock 43 is a lot easier though.

The 42 was  too big for me to pocket carry without printing badly, and being uncomfortable in my choice of clothes. Too bad, I really wanted it to work. Wound up with a s&w m&p 380. I passed on the ruger due to the slide not locking open on an empty mag, and the thumb safety on the m&p.

The younger bunch with the baggy pants can pocket carry most anything. Not my style.

If I were larger framed, not just heavier, I could see a 42, 43, or 26. I know several people that can pocket carry those easily, and are not wearing the fashionable baggy pants.

I am not bashing the baggy pants crowd. I wore bell bottoms back in the day. Looked like a fucking clown per dad.

Are these what you consider baggy pants?

I know for a fact that a Glock 19 fits in the front pockets of those pants with room to spare.

It's one thing standing still.
I can pocket carry my 3" .44 Spl too.
It's another moving around with it bouncing around in your pocket. While it may not matter to you, I don't like people knowing that I carry.

With a good pocket holster, the Glock looks like a rectangle. Could easily be an iPhone 6 Plus or Samsung phone as far as anyone cares. The pants fit tight enough that it doesn't smack around. And the funny thing about pocket carrying is that the more fully the gun fils the pocket, the better it works.

Again, I did this for two years. It worked great.
