| Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but when I search their online store for gun parts, the only slide parts it shows are sights, barrels, and recoil springs - no extractors, strikers, or any other internal slide parts. I'm guessing that's because their position is that only certified Glock armorers should be handling those parts. |

The best option might be to call Glock customer service. I sent my slides through USPS insured and the turn around time was pretty quick. I included a money order with my slides to cover the cost. Sometimes Glock tries to contact you if you use a credit card. |

Just got mine back. Guy called and offers some $60 sights. An overrun or something. I asked him to sell me an extractor spring Since I lost mine stripping the slide. I got awesome sights and a rebuilt slide....guess it depends on who does your sights. |

Will they only install the night sights they have or will do install whatever you want or send them? I have 4 MOS pistols that I want sights on, 2 of them i want suppressor height sights on for a RMR and the other 2 just regular night sights. What's the go to night sight for the MOS pistols? It definitely seems limited due to the set back nature of the rear sight notch for the plate |

| I sent to guns (Gen 3 17 C and Gen 3 17 L) back for Factory Night Sights and a few smaller Glock factory parts (3.5 minus disconnector, extended mag and slide releases) to match both guns. I wrote a letter asking nicely and included it in the shipping. They only charged me the parts, no installation. But that was all for Factory parts, nothing after market. |

I just had AmeriGlo Agent sights installed by Glock. Was $60 plus tax with return shipping inlcuded. Took less than a week round trip. |

Yeah, that's a great price. I'm torn between the Agent and regular AmeriGlo Bold sights, which is why I've been procrastinating on sending a slide in. I just called Glock and talked to one of the tech guys. He said they are only doing Glock night sights ($67 + tax) and Ameriglo Bold ($100 + tax) now. He said they are not doing Ameriglo Agent sights anymore. I asked about paying to have the slide parts installed in my stripped slide (I figured it would be a convenient way to buy a set of Gen 5 slide parts). He said they can't do that because the slide has to go back out in the same condition that it arrived. I suspect there may be some personal discretion involved there, depending on the tech who does the work on your slide, since other members have reported that Glock added a recoil spring assembly or filled other special requests. He may have just had to give me the official answer. Bummer about Agent sights, that was a great deal. Based on that, I'll probably just find a local place that includes installation with the cost of their night sights and save on the shipping. |

I have Novak night sights on all my Glocks. Since that time Novak's now offers newer night sight technology. Check them out. Just send in your slide or have your local gun plumber install them if your not comfortable with this modification yourself. https://www.novaksights.com/ |

I decided to just bite the bullet and ordered the MGW Glock Rear Sight Tool from Midway while they were offering free shipping last week. It arrived today, and I installed a set of Ameriglo Agent sights on my new G19 Gen 5. I thought I would try out the Agent sights to see how they compare, and I like them so far. The wide U-notch makes it easy to pick up the front sight post (obviously the bright orange ring around the front dot helps too). I'll probably order another set for my old carry G19, a Gen 3 that will become my backup. The sight tool wasn't cheap, but I'm sure I'll get my money's worth out of it in a couple years, and who doesn't like new tools? The Glock night sight installation service was a fantastic deal when it came with a free set of slide parts. It's too bad that people took advantage of that. |

A couple years ago, they noticed that someone (maybe more than one) was repeatedly sending in the same serial number slides for the cheap steel sights so they could get all the free parts added to their stripped slides, then sell the parts on eBay or some other place. They stopped adding the free parts because someone got greedy and ruined it for everyone. I called them a while after and asked if they would install the parts if I paid for them (parts were hard to come by, and I thought they might be a little cheaper getting them directly from Glock). The armorer I spoke to said they can’t do that because they’re required to return the slide in the same condition they received it (minus the installed sights, of course). |
