mine glock went kaboom when i pull the trigger and put a hole in the center of the target. if it is really happen to my glock in front of my eyes then I believe it. other than that.. it's BS from glock Haters. 1. clean your gun 2. treat it right 3. use right ammo (9mm in a 9mm... not 9mm in a .357 sig) 4. and please do not try one of those stupid underwater thing. GLOCKS = AWESOME |
You should really read this thread: A Brief Primer on KB's by WalterGA Don't worry about educating the members here on the definition of an "unsupported" chamber because that is my job! First and foremost, there is no such thing. There are partically supported chambers (around the feedramp area) but no "unsupported" chambers. Every handgun that uses the modified Browning design will have a "partically supported chamber." Glocks are known for having less support in this area. One more thing: I don't consider a case rupture the same as a KaBoom. Some do but I don't. I've experienced a case rupture in my USP9f and my gun certainly did not go KABOOM. A chamber splitting open or a bore obstruction would be considered a Kaboom in my book. |

"Don't worry about educating the members here on the definition of an "unsupported" chamber because that is my job!" Really? and Walter's the man eh?....Hmmmmmmmm.... So this leaves me to talk about OD green vs. black frames right? OK listen up dip stick. I'll talk about what ever I wish to here, and if you don't like it. you can F*** OFF, got it? ![]() and this............"partically supported chamber." ..........Are you trying to spell "partially"? |
You haven't been around long enough to know that the "unsupported" chamber misconception is a pet peeve of mine and I forgot to add a smiley face to the end of that sentence. However, since you called me a dip stick and told me to fuck off I don’t see the point in editing my post now to clear the air. |
Probably hasn't been around long enough to realize that my "association" with Dean Speir is a running joke. I haven't wasted mouse-click time checking out Dean's pubescent website lately, but understand he has some choice words for me.
|
With an attitude like that, you shouldn't even be allowed to talk about OD Green vs. Black Frames. I think you should be confined to posting only in the key chain thread |
Damn, guy! You're not too good with people are you? No one likes to talk about guns with A-Holes. ETA: I think I see a in the making.

I did have a Kaboom with my G19. I thought it only happened with 40's on the rare occasion that it happened. It was with factory loaded reloads with Win. brass. Mag popped out, gun fired. I stripped it, cleaned it and looked it over very close. Put it back together and she still works perfect. I talked with a rep from GA Arms ( THIS WAS NOT GA Arms Ammo that gave me the Kaboom.) He said he hears of this very often. Almost all cases are reloaded +P's in Win brass. I don't use reloads, factory or other in my Glocks now. banks308 |

THIS topic looks familiar.:) I'm surprise at how many don't seem to bother reading the material before jumping to conclusions and condemning it. If you take the time to read it, Glock is but a small portion of the site's reason for being, and "mission". If you read JUST the Glock material, you'll find out that Speir doesn't hate Glocks.hock.gif He owns, and has competed with a G21. He admits that the G30 may be THEE best CCW piece extant. He was instrumental in getting them approved in Suffolk(?), Long Island. Glocks aren't the first, nor ONLY, guns which have kB'ed. Not ONLY pistols can kB. Put down the "pitcher" folks, and take some time to give it a look-see. |
Doesn't sound like much of a kaboom if the gun wasn't damaged, at all... |

in the making.
