[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Glock 29 conversions

I have a g30s and I am wondering if I buy a complete g29 upper(slide, barrel, recoil assembly, striker assembly, extractor, any anything else that is in the slide) will it basically just go on the frame and with a g29 mag work just like a g29?
