I had a 30sf but sold it and bought a 30s. I wouldn't have bought the 30s if it were Gen4, the aggressive texture on the Gen4 is not conducive to daily carry. My G19 Gen4 rubbed a raw spot on my side when I carried it. Maybe I'm just too fat. What under clothing do you wear or do you wear any at all. I wear nylon undershirts (Adidas Under Armour, Nike etc make them) that keep even aggressive G10 1911 grips from tearing me up. |

I am a sweaty person already (weird because I am skinny and really have no insulation) but I wear an undershirt to keep from sweating on my top clothes and the the undershirt keeps me from getting grinded on by my pistol. |

I'm with you, OP. I'd like to see one the size of a 19, single stack, holding 8+1 capacity. It would be awesome if it had no finger grooves like the G42 and G43, too.
I just don't like the 10 round magazine with the large base for the 30. I would still probably buy a G30S if they came out with one in a Gen4. |
