I've heard nothing but good things from the limited reviews and YouTube videos I found online but I'm curious about the long-term durability and reliability of these kits. I'm specifically looking at the +1's for my G42 carry mags... Anyone had MagGuts extensions for over a year and/or 800+ rounds? These will be going in my EDC so I want to be pretty confident in any parts I put in it beforehand.

Thanks for any replies.

I have them on my two early mags and have no problems. Good solution and chipper than Taran on G43

I had them on 5 different mags with a newer G42.  I had severe early slide lockback issues when using them.  I don't see how the magguts followers were contributing to the issue, but switching back to oem followers did fix the problem.  May have been a tolerance stacking issue where other problems with the pistol were contributing to the stoppages

Thanks for the replies. I'm more on the fence now than ever.

I had them in two G42 mags and had no problem in about 500rds (between 2 mags).  I had a Ghost +2 base in another mag that also worked well.
I even think the Magguts spring IMPROVED my G42 (as I had had some failures prior to that which most--at the time--were saying was due to a too strong mag-spring).
I'm definitely going to get at least one for the G43--I've already emailed him saying he should make a LONGER spring version to add +1 to the +2 base-plate options.

Also used them in a Ruger LCP with no problems.  That gun WOULD have issues when I shot it one-handed with Freedom Munitions ammo after like 200rds though; I think it just liked to be clean in order to work while being shot with a less than vice-like grip.
