I am thinking about either the Wilson Combat Vickers Glock sights or the Frank Proctor Y notch sights.
Anyone have any experience with either of those?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I just installed the Proctor Y-notch sights on a Gen 4 G19 two days ago. I haven't had a chance to use them for live fire yet, but I've been doing some dry-fire practice with them and I think they're going to work out really well. After dry-firing quite a bit, I definitely get the concept and see the potential benefits of the Y-notch.

This is coming from a guy who has 10-8 Performance (FO front, black rear) on almost all of my Glocks.

No experience with the Wilson/Vickers sights, though.

I would be interested in hearing feedback. I ran my 10-8 FO and 10-8 rear at class last weekend and they performed great. Another guy had the new Y notch sights that looked pretty interesting.

I ran the Proctor Y-notch sights through the gauntlet at the range today. I forgot my sight pusher, so I didn't get them dialed all the way in, but I can say that I am a believer in the y-notch concept. They were as quick to acquire as my 10-8 sights (also FO front plain black rear), and spotting the FO dot anywhere in the top of the Y kept me in the A zone of an IDPA type target at 25 feet and less.

I did shoot some longer stuff and I grouped well, but the groups were a few inches straight to the left because the sights needed bumped over a bit. I'll get them dialed-in on the next trip, but color me impressed. I put the red FO in the front sight, but I run green in all my other guns, so I'll probably change this one for the next trip... But the sights are staying on.

I have Wilson Combat Battlesights and REALLY like them.  However, I use a Tritium Rear and a F/O front (which I could tell bugged Vickers).  I like having SOMETHING on the rear sight to help with alignment, but don't need night-sights since I have a light or two.  They're definitely in my TOP 3 sights of all time...I just don't know if they're #1 or #2.

I've ALSO had the Y-Notch and even though I really liked it (had it on a G17 and shot GREAT groups with it at 25Y), I don't think I was as fast with it.  Part of this had to be because I'm used to a reference on the rear sight--though some of it I think was due to how narrow the sight is....IF I'd gotten used to using the OPEN end of the Y for speed, I probably would have done better.   Still, these are my 3rd favorite sights at the moment.  I keep thinking if I were to drill a small hole in the rear and give it some paint they'd be more perfect for me.

What's tied with the WC Vicker's sights are the Trijicon HDs, but I don't have any time with them on a 19, so I don't know how they'll do on my main carry gun.  BUT I DO have them on my G43, and they're great even though they're shooting 3" high at 25Y (only 1.5-2" high at 10Y).  I have a set for my incoming G19gen4, and I'm going to put that higher front HD front sight on the G43 again and do some more testing.  The fact that I like these as much as I do says a lot since I'm normally a 2-dot shooter.  The rear two lamps are really dim during the day but give you something to help line the tops of the blades up.

I have the Wilson Combat sights on my G19, as well as my 92A1. I really like both of them.

My only complaint on the Glock is that I don't really feel like they are snag free. The holster I use in the woods is nylon, and I have to tip the gun forward to pull it out easily. I also CC a G27 in an IWB leather holster, and used to use that holster for my 19 sometimes, but now the new front sight gets hung up bc the barrel is longer than the holster. I didn't have either problem with the stock sights, but I enjoy shooting with the new sights more.

I don't see that being an issue in a full length leather holster, or some other form fitted material, but it was something annoying that I've noticed.

I like the Warren tactical Dave S. model with the white outline front green tritium, rear single orange tritium dot, very durable finish and excellent sight picture. Also like the Heine straight 8's.
I have the Wilson/Vickers on my LAV model 19 and they are pretty good. Like the dual lock nuts.
My other two Glocks have Ameriglo Pro Operators and I would rate them behind my others as they do not have a lock nut.
I have no experience with the sights you are asking about.
